In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
(Heer Porträts). A mixed lot of studio portraits, including:
1. One depicting a young Unteroffizier, wearing first pattern shoulder straps and decorated with a 1939 Iron Cross II Class ribbon and a ribbon bar likely featuring the West Wall Medal, the lower right corner bearing an embossed studio mark, the reverse bearing a handwritten dedication from the subject, named as “ERWIN” and dated for the war years of “1939/40”, indicating that he served in Luxembourg, Belgium, and France, measuring 10 cm (w) x 14 cm (h), demonstrating moderate soiling and creasing, in near extremely fine condition.
2. A second one depicting the soldier above, in uniform and now with rank insignia identifying him as a Feldwebel, decorated with a 1939 Iron Cross II Class ribbon and partially-visible ribbon bar with a colour scheme which appears to match the Italian-German African Campaign Ribbon, the reverse in postcard format and bearing a brief handwritten dedication from Erwin to his mother, printed on French-made paper, measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 13.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
3. One depicting a Panzer Enlisted soldier, wearing a wrap featuring an indeterminate shoulder strap numeral or device, and with breast eagle clearly visible, the reverse in unused postcard format, bearing the remnants of card stock consistent with previous album display, measuring 8.5 cm (w) x 13.5 cm (h), in extremely fine condition.
4. A second depicting a Panzer Enlisted soldier, in full uniform and wearing an M43 field cap, the lower right corner bearing an embossed Viborg (Denmark) studio mark, the reverse in postcard format and bearing a brief handwritten dedication, alongside a date of “23. 1. 44.”, measuring 9 cm (w) x 14 cm (h), demonstrating minor soiling throughout, in near extremely fine condition.
