Germany, Heer. A Mixed Lot Of Officer Uniform Insignia

(Wehrmacht Insignien für Offiziere). A mixed lot of four Wehrmacht Officer uniform insignia, including:

1 A matching set of Heer Officer’s collar tabs, each constructed of dark green wool with buckram cores, the obverse of both bearing two machine-embroidered silver aluminum wire insignia bisected by bullion wire tresses, both unmarked and measuring 45 mm (w) x 70 mm (l), with some oxidation and material fatigue visible to the wire and wool, respectively, in uniform-removed and very fine condition.

2. A matching set of Heer Infantry Leutnant shoulder boards, each constructed of white wool with card stock cores, topped by four bands of silver aluminum wire piping, and bearing reverse strap with reinforced buttonholes, both pinned with mis-matched magnetic metal political uniform buttons, both unmakred and measuring 32 mm (w) x 110 mm (l), with moderate soiling and material fatigue evident, in very fine condition.
