A lot of medals and documents to Josef Waldmann, including a Reich Labour Service (RAD) Bayern-Hochland Merit Badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the obverse with a central enameled edelweiss on top of a blue enameled column, the reverse maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 18 mm (w) x 30 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its award certificate, named to Arbeitsmann Josef Waldmann, born 2 November 1916 in Zaisertshofen, issued by Arbeitsgaues XXX on 25 October 1938, measuring 220 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition;
Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central date of “1. OKTOBER 1938”, circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.13 mm in diameter, weighing 13.1 grams, in near extremely fine condition, accompanied by its award certificate, named to Schützen Josef Waldmann, 1. Schwadron, Aufklärungsabteilung 7, dated 15 August 1939, with issue number “23/106, 39”, measuring 209 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition;
Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, marked with code “L/11” for maker Wilhelm Deumer, Lüdenscheid, measuring 36.40 mm (w) x 44.06 mm (h), weighing 13.3 grams, in very fine condition, accompanied by its award certificate, named to Gefreiten Josef Waldmann, dated 13 July 1940 for a wound suffered on 14 June 1940, measuring 148 mm (w) x 208 mm (h), in better than very fine condition;
