A Heer Marksmanship Lanyard, Grade 1, consisting of an aluminum insignia in the form of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a pebbled shield overlaid by crossed swords, affixed to a lanyard constructed of silver aluminum wire with an off-white rayon underlay and field-grey wool liner beneath the badge, culminating at each end in a loop for uniform attachment, unmarked, the badge measuring 38 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), the lanyard measuring 42 cm in total length, in extremely fine condition.
