A unique regimental medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a trapezoidal zink backplate and horizontal pinback, the obverse bearing a raised Panzer advancing over grassy ground, topped by a hand-etched inscription of “A. 33”, the reverse with a hand-etched inscription of “AFRIKA 1941” circumscribing initials “BHJ”, unmarked, measuring 28.00 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; a commemorative Afrika Korps ring, constructed of silver, the exterior with a rectangular adornment bearing an etched palm tree overlaid by a mobile swastika, flanked by an inscription of “DAK 1941”, flanked by an etching of a mosque, the interior with a silver content number of “900”, measuring 19.98 mm in diameter, weighing 5.0 grams, with a dent evident, in overall better than very fine condition.
