(Landesschützen-Bataillon 507 Erinnerungskrug). Constructed of glazed off-white porcelain, the exterior bearing a hand-painted Heer-issue transitional Stahlhelm situated against a backdrop of oak leaves and within a red, white, and black Wehrmacht tri-colour frame, in turn above an MG08 and crossed rifles with an ammunition case, circumscribed by a unit dedication of “LANDES-SCHÜTZEN-BATL. 507” and “INGOLSTADT”, with a painted red tresse circumscribing the base, featuring a protruding handle flanked by a measurement of “1L” for one litre, with a functional pewter hinge affixed to the handle topped by a thumb piece, connecting to a pewter lid bearing an engraved monogram, the base bearing illegible maker marks, measuring 16.5 cm (w) (inclusive of handle) x 20 cm (h), demonstrating minor flecking to the glaze and paint but with no evident chips or cracks, a striking and unit-attributed example in extremely fine condition.
