Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by clusters of lightning bolts, and circumscribed by an inscription of “DAS VOLK FÜR EUCH / IHR FÜR DAS VOLK” (“THE PEOPLE FOR YOU / YOU FOR THE PEOPLE”), the reverse bearing an inscription of “ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DEN EINZUG DER NACHRICHTENABT. 10 IN REGENSBURG AM 26. 3. 36.” (“IN COMMEMORATION OF THE ENTRANCE OF NACHRICHTEN-ABTEILUNG 10 IN REGENSBURG ON 26. 3. 36.”), unmarked, measuring 29 mm in diameter, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a pressed card stock frame with a faux brown leather exterior liner, the interior with a white rayon lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a fitted white velvet medal bed, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked, measuring 68 mm (w) x 65 mm (l) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
