Germany, Federal Republic. A Lot of Four Mint 1957 Alternative Version Badges

A lot of four 1957 pattern badges of the Federal Republic of Germany, consisting of:

1. A 1957 Version Bronze Grade Tank Assault Badge. (Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze). Re-instituted on July 26th, 1957. Constructed of bronzed tombac, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon surrounding a central Panzer IV rolling over grassy terrain with its left tread extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, tapering vertical pinback, and flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 41.8 mm (w) x 53.4 mm (l), weighing 36.86 grams.

2. A 1957 Version High Seas Fleet Badge. (Flottenkriegsabzeichen). Re-instituted on July 26th, 1957. Constructed of gilded and silvered tombac, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, surrounding a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, tapered vertical pinback, and flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 44.2 mm (w) x 53.1 mm (l), weighing 37.65 grams.

3. A 1957 Version Luftwaffe Flak Badge. (Flakkampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Re-instituted on July 26th, 1957. Constructed of silvered tombac, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, all overlaid by a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, tapered vertical pinback, and flat wire catch, measuring 44.7 mm (w) x 58.3 mm (l), weighing 34.15 grams.

4. A 1957 Version General Assault Badge. (Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen). Re-instituted on July 26th, 1957. Constructed of silvered tombac, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath surrounding a central raised Heer-style German National eagle perched on-top of a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a sheet metal hinge, tapered vertical pinback, and flat wire catch, measuring 42.4 mm (w) x 53.4 mm (l), weighing 46.86 grams.
