(Der Stahlhelm Diensteintrittsabzeichen 1921). Instituted 13 November 1933 by Franz Seldte. (1933-1939 issue). Constructed of silver with enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled medallion, overlaid by a raised Stahlhelm insignia, situated above a silvered date of “1921” topped by oak leaves, the reverse with a crimped hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch emanating from a circular plate, engraved with a unit attribution of “IV. NO. 91” and service entry date of “27. 5. 1921”, maker marked with the logo of Der Stahlhof, Magdeburg, stamped with a silver content number of “935”, measuring 30.53 mm in diameter, weighing 14.6 grams, demonstrating minor flecking to the enamels, in extremely fine condition.
