A DAF book for Leopold Osterhage, measuring 106x150mm, near mint condition with light scuffing; a DAF book for Karl-Heinz Osterhage, measuring 110x152mm, extremely fine condition with light scuffing and light warping; and an ID card for Karl-Heinz Osterhage, 4 pages, linnen in celluloid case, measuring 105x147mm, extremely fine condition with minimal fraying and light soiling.
Leopold Osterhage, the father, was born on June 10, 1892. He joined the DAF on July 1, 1936. The book contains stamps for each month that Osterhage paid his DAF membership fees, starting in November 1937 and ending in December 1943. However, two stamps state that he kept paying his fees all the way to the end of the war, until May 1945.
Karl-Heinz Osterhage, the son, was born on May 16, 1923. He joined the DAF on February 1, 1943. The book contains stamps for February 1943 to August 1944. An additional stamp states that he also paid his fees during March of 1945.
The ID card is dated to Duisburg (western Germany) on November 10, 1939 and valid for five years.
