1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class “Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse”; a cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; on loop for suspension; the obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm; the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below; measuring 42.99 mm (w) x 43.07 mm (h).
2) A 1887-1918 Issue Bavarian Royal Merit Order of St. Michael Cross Fourth Class (Bayerisch-Königlicher Verdienstorden vom heiligen Michael); a silver cross pattée with blue enamels; the obverse with a silver disc depicting St. Michael slaying a dragon - his shield reads “Quis Ut Deus” (Latin - Who [is] like God?); the reverse inscribed “Viruti” (Latin - Virtue); on a horizontally pierced ball and loop for suspension, measuring 35.08 mm (w) x 35.40 mm (h).
3) A 1914 Issue Mecklenburg-Schwerin Military Merit Cross; a cross pattée in gilt war alloy; the obverse pebbled, with “FF” inscribed in the centre, a raised royal crown on the top arm, and “1914” on the bottom arm; the reverse pebbled, inscribe “Für Auszeichnung im Kriege” (For Services in War); meausirng 40.83 mm (w) x 40.84 mm (h).
4) A 1916-1918 King Ludwig Cross (König Ludwig Kreuz); a cross in blackened bronze; the obverse depicting the leftward facing bust of King Ludwig; the reverse dated “7.1.1916”; measuring 39.86 mm (w) x 41.57 mm (h).
5) A 1868-1920 Issue Prussian Army Long Service Award First Class for Officer’s for 20 Years of Service (Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung 1. Klasse für Offiziere für 20 Dienstjahre); a silver cross with a golden centre medallion bearing the Royal Monogram of Wilhelm Rex; the reverse bearing “XX” for 20 years of service; measuring 37.80 mm (w) x 37.73 mm (h); all mounted onto a medal bar with a zink core; with a white fabric backer - marked “Julius Ludwig, Kunst und Fahnenstrickerei, Frankzenthal (Pfalz)”; measuring 172 mm (w) x 64 mm (h); accompanied by its matching ribbon bar; measuring 75 mm (w) x 18 mm (h); in overall virtually mint condition.
