Description
1.An Order of the Republic. Five-pointed star with blue enamel, decorated with Islamic inscriptions. In its center, there is a round gold patch studded with red enamel, in the middle of which the word Republic is written in Arabic. Light rays made of gilded silver emanate from the corners of the star.
Footnote: The Order was instituted in 1953 to celebrate the rebirth of the Republic of Egypt.
2.Egypt, Kingdom. An Order of the Nile. Silver gilt with white and blue enameled insignia, mounted to a ten-pointed silver gilt star base, inclusive of crown suspension 63 mm (w) x 94 mm (h),
Footnote: The Order was instituted on 14 April 1915 by Sultan Husain Kamil and was awarded for distinguished and meritorious services to the state.
3. An Order of Independence. Second Class set of insignia, comprising: Neck Badge, in silver gilt, silver and enamels, 67mm, very fine.
