The Badge in silver gilt, consisting of a ten-pointed base, superimposed on a five-pointed star in blue enamel, decorated with Islamic inscriptions, the obverse centerpiece bearing the word REPUBLIC in Arabic, inclusive of eagle suspension 83.3 mm (h) x 62.4 mm (w), weighs 66.72 grams, mark denoting Cairo manufacture on the reverse, enamels intact, extremely fine. Accompanied by the Star of the Order, consisting of a ten-pointed base, superimposed on a five-pointed star in blue enamel, decorated with Islamic inscriptions, the obverse centerpiece bearing the word REPUBLIC in Arabic, enamels intact, measuring 84 mm in diameter, weighst 112.40 grams, mark denoting Cairo manufacture on the reverse, reverse pin back flanked by dual prongs, gilt wear, set is missing ribbon, extremely fine. In its hardshell case, marked MAISON TEWFIK BICHAY, white satin interior, white velvet medal bed, measures 25cm (w) x 17.5cm (l) x 5cm (d) includes an Order rosette, extremely fine.
