(Řád Bílého lva). Institution Date 1922. Crowned Lions. Consisting of a sash badge in silver gilt, featuring a five armed Repeated Point style cross with red enamels and ball finials, gilt leaflets in each quadrant, obverse centre presenting a large silver crowned Czech lion with national crest, reverse centre with motto PRAVDA VÍTĚZÍ (Truth Prevails), coat of arms of the former parts of Czechoslovakia on each arm (Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia, Slovakia and Carpathian Ruthenia), with hollow leaflet suspension, hallmarked on ring 900 for silver content, a cross over three hills' design within a triangle with the number 3 was used from 1929-1941, maker marked KK for Karnet Kysely, measuring 65 mm (w) x 94 mm (h - inclusive of suspension with integral ring), finely toned silver minor enamel contact and loss on reverse, on original silk sash, very fine. Accompanied by the star of the order, consisting of a large solid multiple ray base in silver, obverse centre presenting a silver crowned Czech lion with Motto surround PRAVDA VÍTĚZÍ (Truth Prevails) on a red enameled field, reverse with dual stays and principle pin assembly, centre makers cartouche of Karnet Kysely, hallmarked on pin with 900 for silver content, marked KK for Karnet Kysely, and marked on pin and stay with a cross over three hills' design within a triangle with the number 3 was used from 1929-1941, measuring 88 mm (w) x 88.5 mm (h), finely toned, extremely fine.
