In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
Miniature medal bar composed of five decorations mounted upon an ornate engraved gilt horizontal suspension bar decorated with repeating geometric patterns, measuring 71.2 mm in length, consisting of:
1. (Orden Carlos Manuel de Céspedes) Order of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, miniature gilt and enamel decoration featuring blue and white enamelled elements within a wreath, measuring 16.6 mm x 20.9 mm inclusive of suspension device, detached from its ribbon bar;
2. Cuban First World War Victory Medal miniature, bronze medal with rainbow ribbon, measuring 14.7 mm x 16.8 mm inclusive of suspension device; 3. (Orden de la Cruz Roja Cubana Primera Clase) Cuban Order of the Red Cross I Class miniature, gilt and red enamelled cross suspended from a white ribbon with red central stripes, measuring 18.9 mm x 31 mm inclusive of suspension device;
4. (Orden Nacional al Mérito José Lanuza) National Order of Merit José Lanuza, Knight Class miniature, silvered starburst decoration suspended from a faded rose-coloured ribbon with rosette, measuring 16.2 mm x 20 mm inclusive of suspension device;
5. (Orden de la Cruz Roja Española Segunda Clase) Spanish Order of the Red Cross II Class miniature, silvered and enamelled badge suspended from a cream ribbon with central red stripe, measuring 12.6 mm x 19.1 mm inclusive of suspension device.
The group exhibits age-related wear, oxidation, enamel chipping, ribbon fading, fraying to the ribbons, and handling wear throughout, with the Order of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes detached from the suspension bar; overall, fair condition.
Footnote: Cuban miniature medal bars such as this were worn on formal civilian and military attire during the Republican era, often representing a lifetime of military, humanitarian, and state service. The inclusion of both Cuban and Spanish Red Cross decorations reflects the continued prestige of Spanish honours in Cuba during the early twentieth century, while the presence of the Cuban Victory Medal commemorates Cuba’s participation alongside the Allies during the First World War.
