For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
(Velika zlatna kolajna Poglavnika Ante Pavelića za hrabrost). Gold Medal of Poglavnik Ante Pavelić for Bravery, struck in solid Gold, 40.2mm in diameter, it weighs 40.3 grams; with maker's mark "TK" stamped on the rim (for Teodor Krivak, Varaždin), also stamped on the rim and arch suspension is an official Gold hallmark for 14 Kt Gold (pine marten), with hairline crack hardy visible at 5 o'clock, otherwise in mint condition and of highest rarity. With correct, but modern made ribbon.
Footnote: Golden medal Ante Pavelić for bravery was worn on unique constructed ribbon, and was worn from the second upper button. The die of the golden bravery medal is different from the die used on large silver bravery medal, as well, the suspension is different. Beside the great honour, recipient of the Golden medal for bravery had right on title "Knight" (Vitez). Golden medal for bravery was rarely awarded, and during the entire World War Two only seven persons (five of them posthumously) received this award. As well, two Croatian units received this award. It is believed only for a short time in 1941 few medals were struck in solid Gold, while later medals were struck in silver gilt.
Footnote: Only one other such medal in solid Gold is known to exist, and it is in a private collection. History museum in Zagreb does not have such medal in its extensive collection.
