In addition, there are ten single page black and white photographs inserted at various locations, between pages 8-9, 36-37, 60-61, 92-93, 124-125, 156-157, 188-189, 220-221, 252-253, 276-277. It begins with a Dedication "To the Unit Pay Sergeants. These comrades were not RCAPC personnel, but all members of the Corps pay tribute to their loyalty and efficiency.", followed by a Foreword by General H.D.G. Crerar (dated November 30, 1948), an Introduction by Captain J.D. Londerville, RCAPC (dated Dominion Day, July 1, 1947 at Peterborough, Ontario), a Table of Contents and a List of Abbreviations. The book contains 316 pages, printed in black ink, the text an off-white paper stock, the ten pages of black and white photographs on a semi-gloss white paper stock, measuring 155 mm (w) x 235 mm (h) x 32 mm (d). It exhibits spotting on the bottom of the pages and has experienced moderate moisture damage, causing some undulation in the pages and on the inside front cover, however, none of the pages stick together.
