In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
Glengarry Badge (in white metal, voided, unmarked, measuring 57.8 mm (w) x 57.3 mm (h), both lugs intact); and two Collar Badges (in white metal, unmarked, 32.5 mm (w) x 32.5 mm (h) each, both with intact lugs and pin). Very light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Highland Light Infantry of Canada was an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army. Founded in 1886 as the 29th Waterloo Battalion of Infantry it went through several name changes including, in 1900, the 29th Waterloo Regiment and in 1915, the 29th Regiment (Highland Light Infantry of Canada). It acquired its present title in 1920. In 1954, as a result of the Kennedy Report on the Reserve Army, this regiment was amalgamated with The PerthRegiment to form The Perth and Waterloo Regiment (Highland Light Infantry of Canada). However, this amalgamation was undone in 1957 and the Highland Light Infantry of Canada resumed its regimental identity. In 1965 it amalgamated with the Scots Fusiliers of Canada and was renamed the Highland Fusiliers of Canada. The regiment perpetuated the 34th Battalion and 111th (South Waterloo) Battalion, CEF, and held its final order of precedence as 17.
