Hardcover, textured sky blue cloth cover, the text on the spine in gold-colored ink, the cloth cover having been bound to the original inserted paperback version privately, entitled "Nova Scotia Militia 1749-1867" by Joseph Plimsoll Edwards of Londonderry, Nova Scotia, published in 1913. The book is an illustrated history of the militia in pre-Confederation Nova Scotia, containing 52 pages of text in English, printed in black ink, on an off-white paper stock, plus multiple black and white photographic plates interspersed throughout the book, the photos printed in black ink, on a coated white paper stock, maroon matte textured paper cover on the original publication, with the textured sky blue cloth hardcover added, measuring 150 mm (w) x 243 mm (h) x 13 mm (d). It exhibits sunning and light wear on the textured sky blue cloth cover, along with a spot on the spine, however, the pages within remain pristine. Better than very fine.
