Photograph in black and white, illustrating an Artillery Officer on horseback facing right, on a grass surface, with a stable housing a cart in the background, the image area measuring 275 mm (w) x 212 mm (h), the photograph matted and placed with a wooden frame with decorative motif, the frame measuring 295 mm (w) x 415 mm (h), with a black paper backer, incorporating a dual strand cord fed through metal loops on either side for wall hanging, the matte having experienced light soiling and wear, the photograph unaffected, the black paper backer with fraying evident in one corner and exposes the wooden framework, very fine.
