A Royal Life Saving Medal, in Case, in bronze, reverse engraved B. KEAGEY AUG.1928, measures 30.3 mm (w) x 34.7 mm (h), dark patina, extremely fine. In a red leatherette case with stamp on the lid, bottom marked J.A. Wylie & Co., measures 56.5 mm (w) x 57.5 mm (h), sliding clasp, hinge offset, fine condition. 

A Royal Life Saving Award of Merit, in silver, named to B.L. KEAGEY, maker marked JAW & Co. and silver marks denoting Birmingham manufacturer in 1928, very fine. Contained in the original green case with purple velvet interior stamp on the lid, bottom marked J.A. Wylie & Co., measures 56.5 mm (w) x 57.5 mm (h), sliding clasp, hinge offset, fine condition. 

A Royal Navy Brooch, in silver with facsimile stones, horizontal pin on the reverse, marked ANTHONY, measures 39 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), very fine. 

A Pair of Royal Navy Sub-Lieutenant Shoulderboards, dark blue cloth with golden wire embroidered loop with a maroon strip denoting medical officer, with a button hole at the opposite end, and a strap on the underside for uniform attachment, each measures 60 mm (w) x 125 mm (h), light wear throughout, a very fine pair. 

An ID Bracelet, Gold filled with Sterling silver base, engraved N.S. EDNA SMITH R.C.N. and stamped ECCO GOLD FILLED STERLING BASE GOLD SEAL, with chain on each side, weighs 8.86 grams, light verdigres on the clasp, light contact, very fine. 
An ID Bracelet, Gold filled, engraved B.L. KEAGEY, reverse marked GOF BIRKS ELLIS, disc measures 33.7mm (w) x 18.6 mm (h), weighs 8.12 grams, chain broken, light wear, near very fine. 

An Embroidered Royal Navy Insignia, in gold and silver bullion with red velvet and multicoloured thread on black cloth, padded, central metal anchor, measures 89.3 mm (w) x 67 mm (h), light wear to edges, remains extremely fine. 

A Fibre dog tag, impressed B. KEAGEY NURS. SIS. U.C. R.C.N., measures 35 mm (w) x 35 mm (h), hole for tie, very fine. 

General Service Badge, in silver, numbered 518669, screwpost on the reverse, measures 14.7 mm (w) x 22.4 mm (h), very fine. 

A Small bronze placard engraved Miss Jessie L Keagey (backwards), in original envelope, measures 120 mm (w) x 70 mm (h), very fine. 

A Black and White Photograph of two Nursing Sisters (Smith and Keagey), and an ‘Information Regarding Mounting and Wearing of Decorations, Campaign Stars and Medals’ booklet. 

Accompanied by two buttons, an auxiliary badge, CVSM ribbon with leaf device, and two cufflinks (marked ECCO GOLD SEAL), and a Lion’s head cloak clasp, all in very fine condition. 

Footnote: Barbara Layton Keagey was born in Dundas, Ontario in 1913. She served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a nursing sister during the Second War. In June 1942, she served on the York and the Stadacona. As of March 29, 1943, she was serving on the Protector. In May 1944, the Avalon. In 1945, she served aboard the Cornwallis, Stadacona, and Star. She was discharged on December 13, 1945. Keagey died in December 1990, in Toronto, and is buried in Grove cemetery, Dundas. 

Nina Edna Smith served on the York in March 1943, and later the Avalon from August 5, 1943 to April 3, 1945.
