A lot of five Royal Canadian Air Force occupational half-wings, consisting of:
1. A RCAF Navigator Half-Wing, consisting of a dark blue wool backer with multi-coloured machine embroidery in the form of a right wing attached to a partial laurel wreath with an “N” (Navigator) embroidered centrally and “RCAF” (Royal Canadian Air Force) embroidered at the base, thickly padded, the reverse with a cloth backer, measuring 114 mm (w) x 54.0 mm (l).
2. A RCAF Bombardier Half-Wing, consisting of a dark blue wool backer with multi-coloured machine embroidery in the form of a right wing attached to a partial laurel wreath with a “B” (Bombardier), embroidered centrally and “RCAF” (Royal Canadian Air Force) embroidered at the base, thickly padded, the reverse with a cloth backer (with evidence of previous collector mounting), measuring 104 mm (w) x 47.0 mm (l).
3. A RCAF Wireless Operator/Air Gunner Half-Wing, conconsisting of a dark blue wool backer with multi-coloured machine embroidery in the form of a right wing attached to a partial laurel wreath with “WAG” (Wireless Operator/Air Gunner) embroidered centrally and “RCAF” (Royal Canadian Air Force) embroidered at the base, thickly padded, the reverse with a cloth backer (with evidence of previous collector mounting), measuring 107 mm (w) x 49 mm (l).
4. Two RCAF Air Gunner Half-Wing, conconsisting of a dark blue wool backer with multi-coloured machine embroidery in the form of a right wing attached to a partial laurel wreath with “AG” (Air Gunner) embroidered centrally and “RCAF” (Royal Canadian Air Force) embroidered at the base, thickly padded, the reverse with a cloth backer, measuring 103 mm (w) x 48.0 mm (l).
A lot of five very well preserved Royal Canadian Air Force Trade/Occupational Half-Wings, some with glue remnants on the reverse from previous collector mounting, in overall very fine to near extremely fine condition.
