Exterior in wool with a green/khaki wool, giving it that distinctive Canadian-look versus the British version, adorned with CANADIAN ARMOURED CORPS embroidered shoulder flashes, as well as 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade patches, both shoulders incorporate button down epaulette straps with two star/pips denoting rank of Lieutenant, both straps secured in place via a brownish-green finished magnetic metal button. The front has two pockets, one on each breast which have decorative straps giving them a pleated-look with brownish-green finished metal buttons at the top, each pocket with a fold over flap and when lifted up, exposes a reinforced buttonhole. Collar exhibits wear from use, and stamped with possible service number of 144715. When the buttons are fastened, they remain invisible to the eye, covered by the flaps. The front has a vertical row of four buttons with one missing and another being a replacement, the waistline at the front with a strap with metal length adjustment buckle on the left side, and when fed through the belt loop on the right side, ensures a snug fit at the waist. Both sleeves have button down cuffs with buttons on both sides. Just below the crown on the right sleeve are three upward-pointing chevrons representing years of service. Canadian Broad Arrow production mark, along with the manufacturer's stamp inscribed "BATTLE DRESS / SIZE 11 / BLOUSE / SERGE / HEIGHT 5 "9" To 5 "10" / Breast 36 - 38 / ........... TAYLORS LTD / ........ 1943", year month and manufacturer faded and now illegible. As worn.
