A 1914-15 Star, in bronze, full size, reverse impressed 8484 PTE. W. P. MORGAN. 2/CAN:INF:, minor wear, extremely fine.
A British War Medal, in silver, full size, rim impressed 8484 PTE. W. P. MORGAN. 2-CAN.INF., dark patina, light wear and contact marks to rim, very fine condition.
A Victory Medal, in bronze gilt, full size, rim impressed 8484 PTE. W. P. MORGAN. 2-CAN.INF., light wear and scratches, very fine.
Footnote: Willam P. Morgan was born on April 5, 1895 in London, England. He was employed as a Shoemaker when he enlisted on September 23, 1914 at Valcartier, at the age of 19.
He sailed to England with the 2nd Battalion on October 3, 1914. He was reported missing on April 26, 1915, and for official purposes was presumed to have died on or since that date.
