H. LEES & ELLIS BROS."" on the reverse, measuring 25 mm (w) x 27.2 mm (h), both lugs intact); Canada General Service Cap Badge (in pickled copper, maker marked "GEO. H. LEES & Co. 1915" on the reverse, measuring 37.3 mm (w) x 38 mm (h), both lugs intact); Canada General Service Collar Tab (in pickled copper, maker marked "BIRKS 1916" on the reverse, measuring 26.5 mm (w) x 29 mm (h), both lugs intact); and Canada Shoulder Title (in browning copper, maker marked "RODEN BROS 1916" on the reverse, measuring 51 mm (w) x 14.2 mm (h), both lugs intact); along with four Second War badges: Royal Regiment of Canada Cap Badge (in bronze, measuring 45 mm (w) x 55.7 mm (h), both lugs and pin intact); Royal Canadian Artillery Cap Badge (in red bronze, maker marked "J.R. This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
