A Glengarry badge, in silvered metal and brass, dual lungs on reverse at 12 and 6 o’clock, measures 72 mm (w) x 93.4 mm (h), reverse rivets have been covered, lugs reattached, remains near very fine. 

A Pre 1881 42nd Royal Highland Regiment Glengarry Badge, in white metal, featuring the 42nd center, two lugs on the reverse, measures 58.2 mm (w) x 76 mm (h), very fine 

A Pre 1881 42nd Royal Highland Regiment Glengarry Badge Representation, in treated alloys, reverse with dual lugs, measures 58 mm (w) x 75.5 mm (h),very fine. 

A 42nd Badge, in cast white metal, horizontal pin on the reverse, measures 56.3 mm (w) x 76.5 mm (h), worn, very fine. 

Footnote: The 42nd Field Artillery Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish), RCA is a Canadian Army Reserve artillery regiment based in Pembroke, Ontario. It is part of the 4th Canadian Division's 33 Canadian Brigade Group. First organized as the 42nd Brockville Battalion of Infantry in 1866, the regiment was later relocated to Pembroke, Ontario, and redesignated as the 42nd Lanark and Renfrew Battalion of Infantry and became a Scottish regiment in 1927. The regiment was first converted to an air defence artillery regiment in 1946 but converted back to an infantry regiment in 1959. In 1992, the regiment was again converted to artillery as the 1st Air Defence Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish), RCA. It was renamed to its current title in 2011. It originated on October 5, 1866, in Brockville, Ontario, as the 42nd Brockville Battalion of Infantry, was redesignated on December 1, 1897, as the 42nd Lanark and Renfrew Battalion of Infantry, redesignated on May 8, 1900, as the 42nd Lanark and Renfrew Regiment, redesignated on March 12, 1920, as The Lanark and Renfrew Regiment redesignated on July 15, 1927, as The Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment redesignated on November 7, 1940, as the 2nd (Reserve) Battalion, The Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment, redesignated on September 15, 1944, as The Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment (Reserve), converted to air defence artillery on April 1, 1946, and redesignated as the 59th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish), RCA, converted to infantry on December 1, 1959 and redesignated as The Lanark and Renfrew Scottish Regiment, converted to air defence artillery on November 10, 1992 and redesignated as the 1st Air Defence Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish), RCA., then converted to field artillery in 2011 and redesignated 42nd Field Artillery Regiment (Lanark and Renfrew Scottish), RCA.
