Cambodia, Kingdom (French Protectorate). A Royal Order of Cambodia, Knight, by Boullanger, c. 1940

(Ordre royal du Cambodge). A Royal Order of Cambodia Knight/Chevalier (Assarariddhi). Instituted February 8th, 1864. Constructed of silver, consisting of an eight-pointed star with multiple quills between the arms of the cross, with an oval central medallion in Gold with a blue enameled field bearing the Coat of Arms in Gold, surrounded by a red enameled ring, the reverse plain, with a central medallion maker marked by “Boullanger” of Paris, France, suspended from a hollow swivel crown and ring for suspension from its period-original ribbon, measuring 53.1 mm (w) x 71 mm (l) inclusive of its crown, weighing 25.66 grams, a fine French-made example of this award, very well preserved with even patina on the silver surfaces from age, in overall near extremely fine condition.
