Belgium, France. An Order of Leopold, Knight and an Order of the Black Star, Knight

An Order of Leopold, Knight, Civil Division, in silver, a white enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, oak and laurel leaf wreath segments in each quadrant, obverse medallion featuring a lion on a black enamel field encircled by a red enamel ring inscribed L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE, reverse medallion presenting the monogram of King Leopold, suspended from a surmounting crown, and original ribbon, measures 39.5mm (w) x 64.7mm (h), damage to obverse lion, small areas of enamel damage, dark patina, in very fine condition. 

An Order of the Black Star, Knight, in silver gilt, a white enamelled Maltese cross with a blue enamel border, three rays in each quadrant, a five point black enamel star in the obverse and reverse center, suspended by a green enamelled wreath, measures 39.7mm (w) x 61.4 mm (h), worn on original ribbon with metal plate sewn into the top, in very fine condition.
