Austria, Yugoslavia. Two Cased Decorations

Austria, Republic. An Decoration of Honour for Services to the Austrian Republic, Silver Cross for Ladies, with Case 

(Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Republik Österreich). Instituted 2 April 1952. (1952-present issue). In Silver, a Maltese cross in red enamels with a white enamel cross in the center, reverse is plain, surmounted by a Second Republic-style Austrian national eagle circumscribed by state shields, measures 46.2 mm (w) x 63.8mm (h), worn on a correct bow ribbon, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition.

Contained in its original case, red leatherette exterior, impressed with Austrian emblem on the lid, interior lid marked ANTON REITTERER, base features a black velvet recessed medal bed, measures 100mm (w) x 125mm (h) x 25mm (d), hinge and clasp functional, in extremely fine condition.

Yugoslavia, Socialist Federal Republic. An Order Of Military Merit With Silver Swords, III Class

Three-piece construction, in silver gilt with red enamels, hallmarked and maker marked "IKOM" on the reverse of the eight-pointed star base, measuring 65.4 mm (w) x 65.5 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, dark patina, very light contact, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "ORDEN ZA VOINE ZASLUGE III. reda” on the lid, tabbed and recessed medal bed, extensive wear evident on the exterior, functional clasp, very fine.
