An 1849 Merit Cross, Type III (1914-1918), Military Division, I Class Cross. In bronze gilt with red enamels, featuring a cross with central medallion inscription FJ and reverse medallion bearing the date 1849, surmounted by a crown with red interior cap, worn on military ribbon, measures 36.9mm (w) x 59.8mm (h – inclusive of crown), obverse central medallion has been reenamelled, the interior red cap in crown is heavily chipped and cracked, in near very fine condition.
A Military Merit Medal, Franz Joseph, in bronze gilt, the obverse featuring the right facing portrait of Franz Joseph, the reverse with the inscription SIGNVM LAVDIS surrounded by a wreath, the medal is surmounted by a crown, measures 30.8mm (w) x 50.5mm (h – inclusive of crown), worn on a military ribbon with pin sewn into reverse, minor wear, in near extremely fine condition.
Commemorative Cross 1848-1908, in bronze gilt, the obverse featuring a right facing bust, with wreath segments between each arm, the reverse bears the dates 1848 1908, measures 36mm (w) x 41.2mm (h – including integral suspension), worn on incorrect triangular ribbon, wear to obverse relief, remains in very fine condition.
