(Militärdienstabzeichen für 25 Jahre). Instituted September 19th, 1849. Type III (1890-1913). III Class for Officers for 25 Years. A Military Long Service Decoration for 25 Years, a bronze gilt Cross Pattée with dimpled edges, the obverse with a double-headed single-crowned silver eagle bearing the Austro-Hungarian crest on its chest, the reverse plain with center engraved OFFIZIERSKORPS K.u.K. INFT. RGT No 50, on a fixed loop and double swivel rings for suspension from a period original tri-fold ribbon, measures 34.4 mm (w) x 38.1 mm (h), weighs 14.2 grams including ribbon, scattered gilt wear, and remains in very fine condition.
