1. “Il Sacro Egoismo” Iron medallion with obverse bearing a ram hitting its head against rocks in the Dolomites, with maker’s mark of Edmund Otto, reverse bearing German “Dem Grafen Cadorna” (translation: to the count Cadorna) referencing the Italian position on neutrality following a comment in 1914 from Antonio Salandra that Italian intervention would be guided by ‘scared egoism’, measuring at 56.4mm in diameter and weighing 55.8 grams, light contact, in extremely fine condition.

2. “Weihnachten im felde, 1916”, silvered magnetic metal cigarette case with affixed plate inscribed “Weihnachten Im Felde, 1916” (translation: Christmas on the Front, 1916” and reverse with makers mark, measuring at 84.7mm (w) x 90.5mm (l) x 17.1mm (h) and weighing 78.3 grams.
