Several award documents to Richard Schmidt; Date of items: 1918, 1919, 1935; Condition: very good, some signs of aging. Several award documents celebrating the accomplishments of Mr. Richard Schmidt, vice staff sergeant of the field artillery regiment no. 9.
On Jan 15th, 1918 he was awarded the Hanseatic Cross by the senate of the city of Hamburg. It is signed by the supreme councillor. The top of the page shows an intricate picture of the coat of arms of the city. 20.2 x 33 cm
On July 9th, 1918 his father was summoned to a meeting to discuss a pending promotion of his son. 20.9 x 16.3 cm
On July 14th, 1918 he was awarded the “Abzeichen für Verwundete” (wound badge). 21.1 x 16.6 cm
On Oct 30th, 1919 he was awarded the Iron Cross, 1st Class. 20.8 x 16.3 cm
On Feb 14th, 1935 the then Studienrat (tenured higher teacher) was awarded the “Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer” (Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918) by the Chief of Police of Wandsbek. 21 x 14.8 cm.
