A Second War German Nurse's Belt

Upper in cotton with a wide central white stripe flanked by wide navy stripes on either side, reverse in white cotton and size stamped in black ink "70", belt fed through a magnetic silvered elongated loop and secures the strapwhere it folds around to the reverse and is stitched in place at the left end, magnetic silvered metal s-shaped belt loops affixed to an elongated loop on the left end, each of the belt loops illustrating a dual two-headed serpent, an additional silvered metal elongated loop with two eyes forming the receiving clip stitched in place on the right end, the belt measuring 53 mm x 1,110 mm. Surface rust evident on the metal hardware, lightly soiled on the reverse. Better than very fine.
