A Prussian State Forestry Service Official's Belt With Buckle

Buckle in silvered bronze on the right end of the belt, unmarked, illustrating a right-facing Prussian eagle clutching a sword in his right talons, lightning blitzes in its left talons, with a swastika on its chest, on a pebbled background, surrounded by an open-ended wreath of laurel leaves, the buckle measuring 47.5 mm. Belt in leather with a smooth finished dark pine green upper, with a forest green felt underside, belt passes through the loop of the buckle and finishes on the back, the buckle held in place by dual snap closures, smooth finished light brown leather tab stitched in place on the underside at the left end, the tab with eight rows of two holes each for length adjustment, the row closest to the stitched end having been added by the owner, stamped in black ink "100" at the loose end, with bronze receiving clip, belt with two sliders that have matching uppers, the belt measuring 45 mm x 1,090 mm. Silvering wear present on the buckle, light soiling, contact and crazing evident on the leather upper, along with scattered mothing present on the felt reverse of the belt. Better than very fine.
