A Kriegsmarine Administrative Official's Brocade Dress Belt With Buckle; Published

In cast silvered aluminum illustrating a fouled anchor surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves on the right end, maker marked with the Emil Jüttner, Lüdenscheid insignia on the reverse and marked in black ink "110" on the clip, the buckle measuring 58.7 mm x 59 mm. Belt is fabricated from a fine aluminum wire with two rows of dashes in black embroidery intertwined with aluminum wire on the upper, black wool backer, the right end of the belt finishes in a point and has a hook that connects to one of eight aluminum eyelets for length adjustment, matching silvered aluminum receiving clip on the left end, the belt with two sliders that have matching uppers, two hinged flaps with small integral rings on the body of the belt, each with protective black felt flaps, the belt measuring 50 mm x 1,220 mm. Extremely fine. This particular belt with buckle is illustrated in black and white on page 113 and in colour on page 633 of "Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich, Revised Edition" by John R. Angolia and came from his personal collection.
