Footnote: 202018 Able Seaman Thomas Henry Mizen was born on January 25, 1883 in Brixton, London, England. While serving with H.M.S. Natal, he was awarded the Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal on July 1, 1916. Able Seaman Mizen was aboard H.M.S. Natal, when he was killed by an internal explosion of the vessel in Cromarty Firth, on December 30, 1915, at the age of 32, his body never recovered. He is remembered with honour on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Panel 9. His British War Medal and Victory Medal were forwarded to his widow, Edith Miriam of 7 Moat Place, Stockwell Road, Brixton SW.
