In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Buckle in silvered die-stamped aluminum with a gilt eagle and swastika insignia on the right end, the eagle's head facing to its right, unmarked, the buckle measuring 48.5 mm. Belt is fabricated with a fine aluminum wire interlaced with white threading on the upper, with two rows of black embroidery running the length of the belt, the underside in black wool, leather tab with a smooth finished gray upper stitched in place on the underside at the left end, with eight rows of two holes each for length adjustment, silvered aluminum receiving clip on the left end, the right end of the belt folded over and stitched in place and housing the buckle, two sliders with matching uppers and reverses to that of the belt, the one slider with a black wool tab, the belt measuring 43 mm x 1,030 mm. Scattered gilt wear evident on the eagle and swastika insignia on the buckle, scattered interruptions in the aluminum wire on the upper, mothing evident on the black wool underside and slider tab, light soiling on the upper of the leather tab. Better than very fine. Accompanied by two Photographs of Kille (black and white, matte finish, one illustrating Kille in dress uniform standing to the left of a bride holding a bouquet, 90 mm x 137 mm, the other illustrating an older Kille reclined in an arm chair and holding a pipe in his left hand, 125 mm x 173 mm, creasing evident in the latter photograph, both exhibiting light soiling).
Footnote: From the collection of approximately 900 German buckles accumulated by John R. Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
