Strap with a smooth finished black leather upper, raw underside, strap fed though a magnetic silvered metal buckle with a pebbled upper, the buckle securing the strap where it folds around to the reverse and is riveted in place, one slider on the strap with its ends stitched together, functioning silvered metal clips at either end, marked "D.R.G.M." (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) "RZM" (Reichszeugmeisterei) insignia and maker marked "M5/28 C" (Julius Dinnebier Nachf., Lüdenscheid) on their reverses, the one clip secured by the strap where it wraps around to the reverse and is riveted in place, both clips with a silvered metal D-ring attached to a leather loop with a smooth finished black upper and are riveted in place, the strap measuring 18 mm x 920 mm. Crazing and wear evident on the upper of the belt, surface rust on the clips. Better than very fine.

Angolia, who start collecting buckles, belts and brocades from 1944 until around 1990; most of the buckles were obtained from the American and German veterans; most of these buckles present a core of Angolia’s book “Belt Buckles & Brocades of the Third Reich”, published in 2001.
