Insignia in bronze gilt with red, white and black enamels, fronting a silvered bronze star with red enamels, mounted to an eight-pointed bronze gilt star base, each star point with six rays, the enamels lacquered on the flag, torch and ribbon banner on the centrepiece insignia, along with those on the flags flanking the eagle surmounting the star, measuring 90.5 mm (w) x 96.8 mm (h), intact enamels, very light contact, the silvered star exhibiting glue residue as a result of re-positioning of the centrepiece insignia, on its full-length original neck ribbon, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its 40.5 mm (w) x 13.5 mm (h) ribbon bar with pinback, in its hardshelled case of issue, simulated navy blue leather exterior, the national emblem of Yemen on the lid, inside lid in white satin and exhibiting the impression of the Order, measuring 180 mm (w) x 180 mm (h) x 28.5 mm (d), very light contact, case also near extremely fine.
Footnote: The national emblem of Yemen depicts a golden eagle with a scroll between its claws. On the scroll is written the name of the country in Arabic: الجمهورية اليمنية or Al-Jumhuriyyah Al-Yamaniyah ("The Yemeni Republic"). The chest of the eagle contains a shield that depicts a coffee plant and the Marib Dam, with seven blue wavy stripes below. The flagstaffs on the right and left of the eagle hold the Flag of Yemen.
