Instituted in 1951. In silver gilt, measuring 40.7 mm (w) x 67.5 mm (h) inclusive of its wreath and integral suspension, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, accompanied by a card with four items labelled and taped in place: Wounded Star insignia (in silver, measuring 6 mm (w) x 5.5 mm (h), intact dual prongs); I Class Palm (in silver gilt, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 4.5 mm (h), intact dual prongs); II Class Ribbon Bar (palm in silver affixed to the fabric bar, measuring 38 mm (w) x 9.5 mm (h), intact pinback); and III Class Palm (in bronze, measuring 31.5 mm (w) x 4.5 mm (h), intact dual prongs), extremely fine.

Footnote: In 1993, the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg decided to bestow this decoration on the Korean Volunteer Corps. The decoration itself was instituted in 1951, in three classes.
