A Second War Merit Metal,Obverse: "Reichsnährstand Landesbaurernschaft Kurmark, Blut und Boden" - Reichs Nourishing Farmer's Society Kurmark, Blood and Soil. Reverse "Für treue Mitarbeit" - For loyal collaboration". 31mm diameter, bronze. Overall very fine condition. Footnote: "Blood and Soil" referred to the ideology that focused on the importance of ethnicity based on descent blood and territory. This medal was awarded by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to reward individuals for their work on the behalf of the Reich.
