Silvered bronze and enamels, maker marked "W. REDO SAARLAUTERN", 23.5 mm, better than very fine. Footnote: Hitler's Germany employed various means to maintain control on its people and their movement. A multitude of identification papers, cards and pins were created. The DVG pin was issued to residents of the Westmark region. Wearing the pin identified the person as living in that area.
