Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Kriegsmarine Pea Coat & Cap

This is a dark blue, high quality wool pea coat. The jacket retains its size and issue markings, well stamped in the sleeve lining. These cotton sleeve linings are stripped and show discolouration in the underarm regions. The jacket is fully lined. he Machine Engine EM'S Career sleeve insignia, rank chevrons, electric technician grade III Specialty trade badge, as well as the breast eagle are carefully hand sewn into place and are very fine. Cornflower blue collar tabs are also hand sewn securely in place. This fine Collani is in excellent condition. Accompanying the jacket is a deep navy blue doeskin wool construction "Donald Duck" style sailors cap made by Aug.Geiger of Kiel. The cap has a woven black silk construction cap tally with machine woven Gothic script, "Kriegsmarine". Nice quality eagle and cockade. The interior, with its diamond shaped moisture shield, is clearly and strongly marked with maker as well as size, 56. Having been named at one point, the sailors name has been removed at some point. Again, showing signs of period use while remaining solid and in very fine condition, this cap is a nice example.
