(Waffen-SS Porzellanschalle). An extremely well-preserved Waffen-SS mess hall bowl, constructed of glazed white porcelain, consisting of a square design with sloping side walls, plain and unmarked with the exception of a reverse mark of “WAFFEN-SS”, in addition to a maker’s mark of “BAUSCHER, WEIDEN” for the porcelain firm founded by August and Conrad Bauscher, measuring 214 mm (w) x 214 mm (l) x 70 mm (h), sporadic and minor scratching if the glaze is evident, in addition to a small chip along the exterior of one edge, in overall near extremely fine condition.
