Collection: The Dyer Collection: Part I

eMedals is honoured to present The Dyer Collection, a striking collection of over twenty Waterloo Medals, numerous gallantry groups, a vast selection 'Dyer' named campaign medals, and more than 100 First War Canadian Medal Groups. These impressive and impactful groups will be offered, many for the first time, over the course of four auctions in 2025. 

David Dyer, of Vancouver Canada, was a passionate history enthusiast whose lifelong curiosity led him deep into the stories of the past. For years, he dedicated himself to collecting war medals, viewing each one as a tangible piece of history and a tribute to the bravery of those who served. His collection was especially meaningful to him when he discovered medals awarded to soldiers who shared his last name—Dyer. For David, these pieces were more than artifacts; they were connections to potential shared heritage and silent stories waiting to be remembered. His devotion to preserving military history left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
