A lot of four Canadian Commonwealth service medals, consisting of: (Peacekeeping, Confederation, Volunteer Service Medal, Gulf & Kuwait Medal)
1. A cased Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal (Médaille canadienne du maintien de la paix). Instituted October 21st, 1999. A round medal constructed of antiqued silvered copper, suspended from a single-toe claw attached to the center of the award with a slotted bar bearing a maple leaf, suspended from its period original multi-coloured ribbon with functional horizontal pinback assembly, the obverse inscribed “Peacekeeping - Service de la Paix” in capital letters, separated by maple leaves and surrounding a rendition of three Canadian Peacekeepers topped by a dove with a laurel twig in its beak, the reverse is inscribed “Canada” in capital letters below a maple leaf bearing the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II within two laurel wreath sprigs, unmarked, measuring 36.6 mm in diameter, weighing 37.74 grams, accompanied by its presentation box, constructed of white cardstock, the exterior of the lid inscribed with “Peacekeeping - Service de la Paix” in capital letters, the interior with a recessed raised felt bed for placement of the award, measuring 56 mm (w) x 118 mm (l), in mint condition.
2. A cased Canadian 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal (Médaille commémorative du 125e anniversaire de la Confédération du Canada). Instituted May 7th, 1992. A round medal constructed of rhodium-plated copper and zinc alloy, suspended from a single-toe claw attached to the center of the award with a slotted bar bearing a maple leaf, suspended from its period original multi-coloured ribbon with functional horizontal pinback assembly, the obverse with a central maple leaf with the Royal Cypher of Queen Elizabeth II surmounted by a St. Edward’s Crown, circumscribed “Confederation - Confédération” in capital letters above the years 1867 and 1992 below, the reverse with the shield of the Royal Arms of Canada, circumscribed “A Mari Usque ad Mare” (From Sea to Sea), unmarked, measuring 36.3 mm in diameter, weighing 38.40 grams, accompanied by its presentation box, constructed of blue cardstock, the exterior of the lid embossed with the Coat of Arms of Canada and the years “1867-1992” in gilt, the interior with a recessed raid felt bed for placement of the award, measuring 48 mm (w) x 108 mm (l), in mint condition.
3. A cased Canadian Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers (Médaille du souverain pour les bénévoles). Instituted July 15th, 2015. A round medal constructed of rhodium-plated copper and zinc alloy, suspended from a single-toe claw attached to the center of the award with a pierced ball and swivel ring suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse depicts the rightward facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, circumscribed with her official title in Latin and “Canada” all in capital letters, separated by two maple leaves, the reverse depicts two interlaced and crowned hearts with a sunburst pattern on the rim, measuring 36.1 mm in diameter, weighing 26.69 grams, accompanied by its presentation box, constructed of white cardstock, the interior with a recessed raised felt bed for placement of the award, measuring 56 mm (w) x 120 mm (l), in mint condition.
