In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A Canadian Order of the Red Cross mess kit (dress uniform), consisting of a jacket constructed of black polyester. The lapels are flanked by embroidered Red Cross insignia, while the flaps close with gilded buttons affixed to a multi-link chain. The interior is fully encompassed by a multi-piece black liner, with the right flap retaining a tailor’s label for the Edmonton-based firm of LaFlèche Brothers, while an interior pocket retains a label bearing a typewritten owner’s name of “MR. J. BODDINGTON” (indicating issue to Captain Jack Boddington, a founding member of the Military Collectors Club of Canada who amassed a noted private collection of life-saving medals and awards), with a manufacture date of “JAN/77”. It measures approximately 44 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 58 cm, and an overall length of 58 cm (when folded on a flat surface). Accompanying the jacket are matching trousers, constructed of identical black polyester and retaining a matching tailor’s label and name tag within the interior. They measure approximately 50 cm across the waist, with an inseam of 34 cm, and an overall length of 104 cm. Also accompanying the uniform are a matching tie and belts. The jacket demonstrates minor and sporadic mothing and material fatigue, but this complete uniform to a noted figure in the militaria community remains in a near extremely fine condition.
