In clear glazed cupro-nickel, with raised relief sea to sky inspired designs courtesy of the Komoyue First Nation, the obverse illustrating a series of stylized waves, with the inscription "WITH GLOWING HEARTS / DES PLUS BRILLANTS EXPLOITS" beside the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games insignia below the waves, the reverse design depicting an orca whale, symbolizing the strength and power of the group, with the Olympic rings at the lower right, measuring 59.8 mm in diameter, mint. In its cardboard box of issue, with an explanation of the origin of the medal on the underside of the flip-up lid, raised platform with a recessed white felt medal bed, scuff mark on the additional fold-over flap, box near extremely fine.

Footnote: The 2010 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXI Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as Vancouver 2010, was an international winter multi-sport event held from February 12 to 28, 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia, with some events held in the surrounding suburbs of Richmond, West Vancouver and the University of British Columbia, and in the nearby resort town of Whistler. Approximately 2,600 athletes from 82 nations participated in 86 events in fifteen disciplines. Both the Olympic and Paralympic Games were organized by the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC), headed by John Furlong.
