In response to evolving domestic opinion, eMedals Inc has made the conscious decision to remove the presentation of German Third Reich historical artifacts from our online catalogue. For three decades, eMedals Inc has made an effort to preserve history in all its forms. As historians and researchers, we have managed sensitive articles and materials with the greatest of care and respect for their past and present social context. We acknowledge the growing sentiments put forth by the Canadian public and have taken proactive actions to address this opinion.

Description
Description
A well-preserved copy of “With the Guns” written by F.O.O (pseudonym of Captain C.J.C Street), published in London by the Eveleigh Nash Company Limited in 1916, and printed in Great Britain by Richard Clay & Sons Limited. It features cardstock hardcovers that are lined with a tan-coloured oil cloth and spans over 222 pages long. On the insides of the covers is a large map spanning two pages of the immediate area surrounding Loos, where the Battle of Loos took place from September 25th to October 8th, 1915. This book discusses the role of artillery as the most destructive weapon on the Western Front, including at the Battle of Loos, as guns could rain down high-explosive shells, shrapnel, and poison gas on the enemy while heavy fire could destroy troop concentrations, barbed wire, and fortified positions. It measures 135 mm (w) x 191 mm (l), and is very well preserved and in overall better than very fine condition.
